Professor Percy Lehmann has been active in the field of photodermatology for over 20 years, with his first article on photoallergy published in 1988. He has co-authored the German-Swiss-Austrian guidelines, as well as the European consensus methodology of photopatch testing. Together with Dr. Robert J. Neumann, he has co-authored the German-language book "Photodermatosen. Ein Leitfaden zur Diagnostik" (Photodermatoses. An introduction into diagnosis), Darmstadt 2000.

Professor Lehmann will present his lecture "History of the investigation of photoallergy" during the Photoallergy Meeting (18 September 2009), and he also will serve as member of Faculty during the Photopatch Test Course (19 September 2009).
